Garden Dreams is an anthology of nine garden writers who share their thoughts on gardening matters. From Vita Sackville-West’s musings on ‘A Garden of Paving Stones’ to ‘My Garden’ by Russell Page in which he dreams of a garden of his own: ‘My garden will be very simple. There will be no herbaceous borders, no rose garden and no complicated formal layout with all the bedding out, edge trimming and staking which these forms of gardening involve.’

Stunning illustrations by Cook. She writes: ‘All of the illustrations in the book are adapted from the covers of garden books published in the United States and England between 1894 and 1930…. Margaret Armstrong was one of the best-known and most prolific designers in the field….She created over three hundred book covers of exceptional beauty’.
